Monday Night Club - Daniel Jones wins at Letchworth

Daniel Jones stole the lap record at Letchworth from regulars Ali Bray and Jason Tulk with a stunning 21.61s lap on Monday. This is the 3rd new lap record in 3 weeks, and the circuit is clearly getting faster all the time as new rubber is laid down.
Monday Night Club gives you unlimited racing for just £22.95: you race as many sessions as you like between 6.30pm and 9pm, racing against our regulars and newcomers.
This week's tip: maximum grip is not always on the usual racing line. Rough patches of track can be grippier than polished sections, and these might give you extra fractions of a second on each lap.
Here's this week's fastest drivers:

• Birmingham - Jason Hodges 24.82s
• Coventry - James Edees 18.59s
• Letchworth - Daniel Jones 21.61s ** NEW LAP RECORD **

Monday Night Club - Results

Ali Bray matched Ross Massey's time of 21.63s at Letchworth last night, to equal the new lap record and regain his long standing fastest driver title.
Monday Night Club gives you unlimited racing for just £22.95: you race as many sessions as you like between 6.30pm and 9pm, racing against our regulars and newcomers.
Letchworth's lap record now looks very hard to beat, but who knows? Anything can happen on Club Night.
This week's tip: find the biting point of your kart's throttle every time you sit in it. Use this bite point to set the throttle before the grid start, giving you a vital extra fraction of a second when the lights go green.

• Coventry - James 18.72s
• Letchworth - Ali Bray 21.63s ** EQUAL LAP RECORD **

Letchworth's lap record has now been broken every month since May! Can it go any faster?
This week's tip: karts have solid rear axles, so power is lost during cornering. You can improve corner exit speeds by reducing weight on the inside rear wheel: corner smoothly and transfer as much weight as possible to the front and outside wheels. Watch the fastest drivers and learn to be smooth!
