The only place to be on a Monday night is Teamworks Karting and if you are still to make an appearance what are you waiting for, come on down and join in with our amazing Monday Night Clubs. The weather may have cooled down but the tracks are still heated and Monday Night Club continues.
Teamworks Karting Reading this week ran another truly amazing event and we do not expect any less. As thirteen drivers packed out the circuit with them all being returning members, we were in for quite a show. Even though Jamie’s record lap time set last week was never threatened we still had some great racing on display. The top eight were only separated by four tenths of a second with Mark Godfrey hitting some good form with a fast lap time of 20.17s with only the final session remaining Mark would have been confident to think he would be crowned with the top spot but in typical fashion at Reading we were in for some late drama. Having not been in two months, the dark horse of the night was Jez Stevens. As Jez got re-accustomed behind the wheel, Jez saved it to the final session to hit a firing lap time of 20.11s beating Mark to top spot with a massive difference of 600ths of a second. Very exciting stuff at Reading, don’t forget to come on down to Reading every Mondays and take part in Monday Night Club for some great Karting.
Peterborough played host to seven drivers this week in our Monday Night club so there was plenty of racing to be had with three new members mixing in with the regular go-karters to put on a great event and it was Jamie Bowling making it two weeks in a row on top after setting a super fast lap time of 24.69s. Well done Jamie!
Birmingham held another great event this week with more familiar faces taking part in the Monday Night Club as well as new members joining in on the fun. This week it is Damali Irish taking a place on the Hall of Fame after hitting a winning lap time of 24.914s. Well done to Damali with that speedy lap time down at Teamworks Birmingham.
