Monday Night Club - Another lap record!

Club night on Monday saw ANOTHER lap record broken - for the third week running!
Ali Bray set a new lap time of 25.23s at Letchworth, beating 23 other drivers for the top honours.
A temperature inversion at Reading (warm air, cold track) saw a little bit of condensation on track, making driving very slippery. Master of these conditions was Jez Stevens with some impressive racing.

Club night at all tracks yesterday saw TWO new lap records set, as predicted in this blog!
Warmer temperatures saw Rickard Cox set a new record 24.45s at Birmingham, and James Curtis set a new lap record 18.45s at Coventry. Well done to all drivers who took part.
Letchworth, Peterborough and Reading also set the fastest laps times of 2012, with warmer temperatures making a real difference to grip levels.

No Club night at Reading or Coventry this week, but Letchworth, Birmingham and Peterborough made up for it with some superb racing!

Letchworth ran 7-tenths faster this week, and some lucky drivers at Birmingham managed to fit in 11 race sessions on the night for just £22.95, setting a new record for bargain racing!
